The Western Australian Masters Committee welcome you here and trust that you will have a successful and enjoyable stay in WA.

To further your experience here, we would like to offer the following accommodation recommendations to you and trust that they will assist you in finding the type of accommodation that will suit you! More Links will be added as information comes to hand.

The committee have, or will be, negotiating reduced rates at the following venues, so please mention, when making enquires, or bookings, that you are here for the AMSA Australian Masters Championships so you can access the "Squash Tariff".

With no particular order of cost or star rating, click on the links below to see some of the accommodation on offer!

From your central location in the CBD you can easily access the following:

  • Shopping in Fabulous Perth
  • Kings Park
  • Burswood Casino
  • Barrack St Jetty (for river trips; Up River to wineries! or Down River to Fremantle and Rottnest Island)
  • Subiaco Oval, or the WACA
  • Swan Valley Vineyards
  • Perth Mint (Tours offered daily, click here for more information)
  • Train Station (for an easy ride to Fremantle! click here for more information from Transperth)
  • Fabulous selection of restaurants in Northbridge, Leederville, Subiaco and surrounds. (click here for more information)
  • Easy access to all the Formal Functions!
  • Buses are frequent and easy to catch (if you run quick!) Visit the Transperth website for timetable information. Transperth also run a FREE bus service travelling around Perth, easy to use and great for those into serious shopping (ie less walking!)

A wonderful Caravan Park is close by also for those that will be driving to the championships!

The Perth CBD area is located approx 10km from the domestic airport and many places offer transfers via a shuttle bus, check with your choice of accommodation when booking. A taxi ride from the airport is easily found outside the terminal on arrival. Fares for taxis will vary around the $20-$30 mark.

As an attractive alternative, you may want to stay on the spectacular "Sunset Coast"

Another venue on our fine coast is the Sandcastles Apartments.

Or you may even want to try the amazing West Beach Lagoon.

The sea-side suburb of Scarborough is 20km form the domestic airport and taxis or shuttle bus services are readily available for a reasonable cost.

Scarborough is only about 15km from the main Squash venue in Squash World Mirrabooka, with this being only a 15minute drive from your accommodation.

Scarborough is located some 12km from the Perth CBD and is usually only a 15minute drive (depending on the mood of the driver! :) )

From your location on the Coast you have easy access the following:

  • The Indian Ocean: on your doorstep!
  • Perth CBD (15 Minute Drive)
  • Hillarys Boat Harbour with fabulous eating and entertainment. (10 minutes up the coast)
  • Easy drive down the coast to Fremantle.
  • Restaurants in Scarborough, North Beach etc...
